My best friend from high school and I had our babies exactly two weeks apart--perfect timing! Evelyn and Bennett met for the first time today! I hope they will become good friends, just like Carla and I! Nice to meet you, Evelyn! You're a sweetheart!

Resting Up
Hard Work
On Monday, March 24th, Bennett went to visit his daycare for the first time. Mom went back to work on March 17th, and Dad took over. But his time is almost up, so we decided it was time to go introduce him to everyone. All the kids and adults cam over to take a peek. It's hard work to have everyone staring and you and telling you how cute you are, so Bennett had to take a nap on the way home!

Hold My Head Up High
Happy Easter!
Bennett celebrated his first Easter today! We went to church this morning, where he slept the whole time. Then, we had Grandma and Grandpa T, Grandma R, Great-grandpa S, and Aunt Kristin for lunch. In his Easter basket, Bennett got two new books and a Leap Frog toy that sings the alphabet. He also got two books and a CD from Daddy's family. We had a full day, but it was so nice to celebrate Bennett's first Easter with our family.

Two Month Birthday!
I can't believe Bennett is already two months old! Where has the time gone? I'm sad that I have to go return to school on Monday, but it will be nice to get back to "real life." I will miss watching him sleep,
watching him smile, laugh, kick, and play. He is such a fun little boy--I can't wait to watch his personality continue to develop.
But the poor thing, his hat and clothes are still too big!

Mama and Me
My New Trick!
All Bundled Up!
As the weather reached the 40s last weekend, Mom and Dad bundled up Bennett and took him for a walk. The Pooh snowsuit, a gift from Aunt Kelly, came in handy! As cute as he looks, it does sort of remind me of the movie "A Christmas Story" where the poor little boy was so bundled up he couldn't put his arms down :-) Oh, well! That's winter in the midwest!
Prayers for Paloma
