After all the chaos of last night, I had my favorite mommy moment this morning! At about 2:45 this morning, Bennett woke up and joined us in our bed. This morning, when he woke up, he was in good spirits. He took Daddy's place in bed and we laid face to face. We chatted and jabbered--of course, it wasn't anything too profound, but this went on for about 20 minutes. It was so fun to cuddle with him and have this real conversation. The best part--I asked Bennett if Auntie Kelly did a good job taking care of him when he was sick and he did is "uh huh." And then, with a lot of enthusiasm, he said "WOW!" He dozed on and off and gave me Elmo and his bear to cuddle with while he snuggled with Teddy (who was now free of yucks). He has become so active that he never wants to cuddle anymore, but this morning was the coolest moment so far!
