With two boys, I'm not quite sure how craft time will go over in our household. But a few weeks ago, we did this project with our kids at school using a letter of the alphabet. Instead, I printed each boy's name on computer. All you need is white glue and some packets of Jell-o.
Bennett, with some hand over hand help from mom, traced each letter of his name with the liquid glue. Then, he chose a plate of Jell-o to sprinkle on. 
For the orange and lime Jell-o, when it mixes with the glue, the color is revealed!
Landon also got in on the action--although not very succuessfully!
Here is the finished product! They are full of fun color and they smell great!
Art project #1 complete :-)
